Biblical Ministries Worldwide has independent apartments for the deaf-blind in Highland Park, where much of the ministry takes place.
Ministry Description:
Muriel’s goal is to reach the deaf and deaf-blind with the Gospel, which is often done by meeting physical and emotional needs as well, such as taking people to doctor’s appointments, helping them with everyday life, etc. She enjoys feeding the Word to the deaf-blind and teaching them to memorize Scripture. She plans to continue this work until the Lord takes her home.
Prayer Requests:
  • Pray for Chris Cook’s (deaf-blind) salvation and understanding of sin. He hasn’t had any church background, but since he moved here 3 years ago he has faithfully attended Sunday School, church and prayer meetings, asking lots of questions.
  • Pray for Gerald Wedward, who needs Jesus.
  • Pray for Kathy Spear, who moved here a few months ago and is very open.
  • Pray that those who are His will see how important it is to be in the Word and pray daily.
  • Pray for improved health.
  • We need a work team to come for a work day!
