2005 - Present
Beth will work with Grace Christian Church in South Africa, which is actively involved in raising up national leaders and planting churches. Currently they are involved in a Zulu church plant. As part of this they have purchased an acre of land where they will be building a church, manse, aids hospice and a Bible College. In addition, they currently have two native interns who are training to be pastors and will go back to their native areas as church planters.
Beth will also be involved with church strengthening ministries. Part of the church’s concern has been the lack of ministry to women of the church. There is a great hunger in South Africa for women to be discipled and trained by other women. However, there are few nationals who have any kind of training to do this. Currently, there are no solid Bible Colleges in South Africa for women to get this training to minister in their local churches. This necessitates bringing in a trained woman for the church to be strengthened in this way. The hope is that just as the church is raising up nationals to go out and plant churches, Beth will be involved with helping to raise up nationals to minister to women in the church.
