Women’s Ministry

The goal of the Women’s Ministry at Calvary Bible Church is to above all else, bring glory to God through all that we do. We strive to find ways to help “stimulate one another to love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24) and to grow in the knowledge of God (2 Peter 3:18). It is our heart's desire to provide Christ-centered opportunities for deepening spiritual growth, promoting fellowship among the body of Christ and reaching out to the community around us.

Koinonia Groups

Koinonia groups meet in selected homes every other month, giving opportunity for a limited group of women per home to hear the Word, apply the Word, and share with one another in sweet fellowship. There is a choice of days and times for meeting, and the subjects are: Love, serving, forgiveness & reconciliation, humility and modesty. The women remain with the same group for the year, while the teachers rotate to each group (space is limited). Child care is not provided. Call the church office for more details.

MOMs Ministries

Sessions: Fall, Winter & Spring

Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 AM

MOMs ministry, based on Titus 2:3-5, is to encourage mothers in personal Bible study, worship and fellowship. The teaching and discussion groups emphasize the truths of God’s Word as it applies to their marriages and children. There are two sessions each year: one in the fall (Sept to Nov) and one in the spring (Jan to May). A small fee is required to attend. Child care is provided. You may join at any time.

Women’s Bible Studies

Women’s Bible Studies provide the oportunity for deepening your knowledge and understanding of the Bible along with meeting and making new friends. These studies include personal Bible study, discussion, and scripture memorization. Through the course of the year, we teach how to study the Bible so that the women grow in biblical knowledge and discernment. There are several opportunities throughout the week for you to consider during the day and in the evening, and may join at any time during the year. Child care is provided.
