Women’s Ministries

The goal of the Women’s Ministries at Calvary Bible Church is to above all else, bring glory to God through all that we do. We strive to find ways to help stimulate one another to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24) and to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). It is our heart’s desire to provide Christ-centered opportunities for deepening spiritual growth, promoting fellowship among the body of Christ and reaching out to the community around us.

Koinonia

Practicing the “One Anothers”

Koninoia individual groups combine together to meet monthly at church to hear the Word, apply the Word, and share with one another in sweet fellowship on the following months:

• September
• November
• January
• March
• May

Koinonia individual home groups meet in selected homes to work on community help projects, fellowship, and prayer. These take place either Tuesday evenings or Saturday mornings on the following months:

• October
• December
• February
• April

MOMs

Ephesians: Your Position, Progress and Power in Christ

The purpose of MOMs Bible study, based on Titus 2:3-5, is to encourage mothers in personal Bible study, worship, and fellowship. All teaching and discussion groups emphasize the unwavering truths of God’s Word to guide each woman’s life, her children, and her marriage. A $15 fee covers the year, and child care is provided. MOMs Bible Study begins in September and continues through May, with Christmas and Easter breaks.

Women’s Bible Studies

Women’s Bible Studies provide the opportunity for deepening your knowledge and understanding of the Bible along with meeting and making new friends. These studies include personal Bible study, discussion, and scripture memorization. Through the course of the year, we teach how to study the Bible so that the women grow in biblical knowledge and discernment. There are several opportunities throughout the week, both day and evening groups, from which to choose. You may join any time during the year. Child care is provided.
