Biography

I was born in Glendale and raised in Burbank. I attended grammar, junior, and senior high schools in Burbank, graduating from John Burroughs with the class of 1972. I served 3 years in the United States Army. I have many college units, but no degree. I started with the City of Burbank in 1983, and currently work as a Senior Power Dispatcher for the City. I have been married to my wife Stephanie for 28 years. We have three children. Through God's grace, I was saved in 1973. When we returned from the time in the army, Stephanie and I began attending Grace Community. We stayed for four years, until we felt God was leading us to a smaller church in Burbank. We attended Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church until 1993, where I served as an Awana leader and game director and coached football and baseball teams sponsored by Emmanuel for the purpose of sharing Christ through sports to the community.

We began attending Calvary in 1993. I have taught 5th & 6th grade boys Sunday school and currently teach 1st & 2nd graders. In November of 2001 I was called to serve as an Elder and began my term of service in February of 2002. My current area of responsibility is the kitchen. My life verse is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
