Mission Agency Purpose Statement: Our first priority is to support missionaries that are planting churches. The Bible gives us a clear example in the life of Paul as he plants churches, and stays to insure their sustainability. Our Mission in Hollywood:
We consider ourselves a missional church. This means you won’t find an “evangelism” department to our church, for each of our people see themselves not as a resident of Hollywood or a church attendee in Hollywood, but rather a missionary in Hollywood! Thus we gather together to worship Jesus and we go out to live missionally as a lifestyle taking the truth of Jesus into every area and subculture. We seek to live as Jesus did while He was on this earth and become the “Friend of sinners.” We believe that just as Jesus was sent, so we are sent to tell people of His love and call them to repentance and faith in Jesus.
We have been married for almost 10 years and have four little ones: Caedmon (8/14), Sophia (8/14), Sadie (3/21) and Calvin (3/21). We live in Hollywood and started a church plant in the city in September of 2007. I grew up in Virginia and came to Christ out of a non-church background at the age of 18. Sarah grew up in Minnesota and came to Christ in Junior High school. We met at Grace Community Church while working with the High School students. I graduated from the Master’s College in 2000, and the Master’s Seminary in 2004. We lived in Alabama for three years, where I served as an associate pastor.
