Philosophy of Ministry

We at Calvary Bible Church exist to:

1. Exalt God by doing ministry according to God's Word, relying on God's resources, for God's glory (Ephesians 3:21; 1 Peter 4:10-11)
2. Edify the believers by teaching and shepherding them with the whole counsel of God in love, so that they can live and minister in the likeness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16)
3. Evangelize the lost by proclaiming the Gospel of Christ both privately and publicly, in all the world (2 Corinthians 5:18-21; 2 Timothy 4:5)

We are here to minister to you and meet your genuine spiritual needs. Our aim is to provide a diversity of classes and programs to meet the variety of needs you might have. The times and locations of the various classes and programs offered are available at the Visitor Welcome Tables on the patio on Sundays or by contacting the church office at 818.556.4840, extension 200.
