Ministry Update from Aleksei Kuznetsov
Refreshment with Family
August is the month when we try to be together as a family and get some rest before continuing with the ministry. We had a chance to go to Crimea and enjoy the sun, sea and warmth. This year we practically did not see the summer in St. Petersburg; the warmth passed us by as well. Time spent with family is priceless. We had a chance to spend time with our kids individually and talk about hearts, plans, and goals.
Open Heart to the Gospel
God has granted us grace and mercy this year. He opened the door of the heart of my eldest son to the Gospel understanding. This is very joyful for us and we need to be wise in helping him grow and see the fruit of the Spirit in his life. We know that he needs to change his priorities and align them to the Truth. We need your prayers that the Lord would guide our family in the knowledge of Him. For now our oldest son has a desire to seek the Lord and run from sin and be useful in the ministry of the church. For the children of Christian parents it is a difficult time when they have to understand and figure out what is going on in their hearts and life. I understand that if God has truly changed him and given him a new heart this would have a great impact on my other sons. I see how he desires to spend time with other believers and talk about the Gospel.
- Please pray for our family. God continues to do his work in our family and my wife and I need to be wise stewards of our children. Pray that we can walk well with our son in his growing understanding of God. Also pray that other kids would begin actively seeking God.
- Pray about the ministry that we could serve actively and with joyful home this year.
- Pray about our pastoral team that God would continue to build our relationships among ourselves and with Him; that we would grow in dependence on Him in deeper prayer life.
