Jesus Speaking in Parables

Having cursed a fig tree the day before, Jesus uses the opportunity of the withered tree to speak to His disciples about the importance of having faith.

The day, however, is focused on controversies with the religious leaders. Due to the monumental event of the triumphal entry, the religious leaders are intent on trapping Jesus in an effort to have Him killed. The discussion culminates in the Lord pronouncing a series of "woes" upon the religious leaders, to which they have no answer, but only increasing hatred.

As Jesus and His disciples leave the temple on Tuesday evening, Jesus predicts the remarkable future events surrounding the temple and the city of Jerusalem.
