CBC Women: In His Image

Mankind was made in the image of God. We are made to RESEMBLE and REPRESENT God in our ATTRIBUTES and our ACTIONS. In Genesis 1:26-27, God used the words image and likeness to describe how mankind would resemble and represent Him. These two words help us to understand that we are not miniature versions of God, but instead we have attributes that mimic or remind others what God Himself is like. And, though we are made in His image, there are many ways we are not like God, for we are limited, physical creatures who struggle with sin.
