Spend a Weekend Looking at Christ's Model of Manhood

We'll spend the weekend away in Malibu at Lawrence M. Daley Camp and Conference Center, as we take in teaching from the Word by Scott Mehl. When we're not in sessions, we'll have opportunity for outdoor activities and more! Our teaching focus this year is on Christ-Shaped Manhood.

About our Speaker Scott Mehl is the founding pastor of Cornerstone West Los Angeles (2004). His ministry focuses include preaching, counseling, leadership development, and church-wide vision. He is also the managing director of the Institute for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship (IBCD). He has written two books, Loving Messy People and Redeeming Sex in Marriage. When is retreat?

October 2nd-4th

Check in starts at 4pm on Friday with the first session at 7pm. Activities end on Sunday at 2 PM.

Registration 

We have 31 rooms in the conference center, most of which accommodate 2-3 men. Each room includes a restroom and bed linens.

At registration, we encourage you to choose dual or triple occupancy for your room selection, which will allow more men to come, and also save you money. If you need your own room (for medical reasons such as a CPAP, etc.), select single occupancy, but indicate your need in the "special requests" section at the end of the registration form, and we will do our best to accomodate you. If you WANT your own room, you will be able to request it, but those requests will be on a first come first serve basis. Once registration is closed, we will confirm room assignments.

At this time, registration will be open to regular CBC attenders.  

What if I can't stay overnight but want to attend? 

You can register for that!  Daley charges $30 for each day you will be there, and you'll have the option of registering for meals with the guys that are staying overnight. 

Registration Costs

• $275 for a single room
• $205 for a double occupancy room
• $165 for a triple occupancy room
• $30 per day for those who choose to stay offsite

These amounts include Saturday's breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Sunday's breakfast. If you would like to have Friday dinner and/or Sunday lunch at Daley, you'll be able to select those options at registration, for an additional charge. 

When do I have to pay? 

$50 deposit to secure your spot ($30 for those driving up only). Full payment is due by September 1.
