In anticipation of Resurrection Sunday, we as a church will participate in what we're calling the Festival of the Resurrection. These Festival Prayer nights are one way in which we are commemorating this Easter season. We're gathering every Thursday through 4/17  for prayer. We’ll read excerpts from the Upper Room Discourse found in John’s gospel and pray corporately. You are welcome to pray aloud or silently.

The Practice of Fasting

For those who are able, we recommend that you spend some time fasting especially for the purpose of greater communion with God during this festival season. Our Festival Prayer & Festival Lunch are organized so that you can fast on Thursday and break that fast corporately on Friday. However, feel free to organize as you wish.
