Walking Wisely in A Wicked World

Men, join us for a weekend of worshiping Christ and learning how to walk wisely in a dangerous world. We'll eat (3 meals included), worship, hear the preaching of the Word, sit in on workshops, and more! We'll get to hear the Word preached from Jim Stitzinger, of Crossroads Community Church.

About our Speaker

Jim Stitzinger, of Crossroads Community Church, is our guest speaker. Jim is the Outreach pastor at Crossroads Community Church (Santa Clarita), mobilizing the church to proclaim Christ in their community and across the globe. Jim is also an adjunct professor at The Masters University, senior chaplain for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, and founder of Always Ready Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing the gospel to first responders. Previous to his current work, he has served in churches and law enforcement chaplaincy in California, Alabama, Florida & Kentucky. Jim is an avid jiu-jitsu competitor, perpetual trainer of a Belgian Malinois, and extremely grateful for the three adult daughters he and his wife, Sky, have raised.

CBC teachers will lead our workshop sessions. Workshop sessions include the following topics:

  • Prayer by Bruce Wendler
  • Church Structure: Importance of Elders, Deacons, and Membership by Jon Stricklin, Family Pastor
  • Equipping and Evangelizing the Current Generation by Christian Penaloza, Pastoral Intern & High School Director

You'll get to attend two out of the three workshops on Saturday afternoon.

Registration & Cost

The cost to attend the conference is $60. For men under age thirty, we've reduced the cost to $40. If you'd still like to attend the conference, please email Todd Andrews
