The Trinity
May 3, 2026 - May 10, 2026
The Trinity is often a misunderstood doctrine. In fact, the word “Trinity” is not even in Scripture, yet the Bible very clearly demonstrates that the Godhead is three in one; one God in essence, yet three distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three messages explore the basic doctrine of the Trinity, examine the role the Trinity plays in creation, salvation and sanctification, with a final focus on the Trinity and prayer. This last message seeks to answer the question, “Who do we pray to? Father? Son? Holy Spirit? All three?” As well as what it means to pray in the Spirit and what it means that the Spirit intercedes for us when we don’t pray as we should (Rom. 8:26).
