Partnering With Parents to Help Children Come to Know, Love and Serve Jesus Christ
Are you a parent looking for a church that will serve your family? Perfect, because the Children's Ministries of CBC exist in order to support and encourage you. How? By offering quality programs and various resources that will help your children to grow in their knowledge of, love for, and obedience to Jesus Christ. From the cradle to 5th grade, we offer Sunday morning and weekday ministries to help you meet the spiritual needs of your children.
What does a Sunday morning look like?
Classes for toddlers through 4-year olds are available during the main worship service on Sunday mornings. The rest of our elementary age kids are encouraged to sit in the Worship Service.
After the Worship Service, we offer classes for almost every age. Toddlers to 5th graders meet in their classes during the fellowship hour from 11am-12:15pm.
We know your child will have a great time in our structured and fun classrooms. There is a Bible story or lesson given in each age group, including infants. In addition, time is given for singing, coloring or a craft, free play, and a snack. You can feel secure dropping off your child because we run a background check on every volunteer.
Kids in the Worship Service
We prepare activity sheets for the kids that participate in the Worship Service with their parents. Visit our cart in the foyer for the weekly activities. Can't find it? Ask one of us at the CBC Kids Desk.
CBC Kids Classes
Nursing Room
Our nursing room is available for mothers during the service. A TV broadcasts the service live so you can worship in a quiet and private space. Ask the CBC Kids Check-In Overseer to lead you to the room.
Walkers & Toddlers
As soon as your child is walking, up until their second birthday, they will find themselves in this room. Children have snack, play time and a Bible story. We maintain a 1:3 child to adult ratio. Meets During Worship Service & Fellowship Groups
2 Year Olds
Children have snack, play time, singing and a Bible story. We maintain a 1:4 child to adult ratio. Meets During Worship Service & Fellowship Groups
3 & 4 Year Olds
Children have snack, playground time, singing and a Bible story. We maintain a 1:6 child to adult ratio. Meets During Worship Service & Fellowship Groups
K-2nd
These kids worship, play, and sit under teaching time. Meets only during Fellowship Groups. These kids currently attend the 9am worship service with their parents.
3rd-5th
These kids worship, play, sit under teaching, and break out into discussion groups. Meets only during Fellowship Groups. These kids currently attend the 9am worship service with their parents.
