Partnering With Parents to Help Children Come to Know, Love, and Serve Jesus
Are you a parent looking for a church that will serve your family? The Children's Ministries of CBC exist in order to support and encourage you. How? By offering quality programs and various resources that will help your children to grow in their knowledge of, love for, and obedience to Jesus Christ. We offer Sunday morning and weekday ministries to help you meet the spiritual needs of your children.
What does a Sunday Morning look like?
Classes for toddlers through 4-year olds are available during the main worship service on Sunday mornings. The rest of our elementary age kids are encouraged to sit in the Worship Service and we provide activity sheets that they can do in service. Visit the cart in our foyer. Can't find it? Ask a greeter, usher, or one of us at the CBC Kids Desk.
After the Worship Service, we offer classes for almost every age. Toddlers to 5th graders meet in their classes during the fellowship hour from 10:30am-12:15pm. We know your child will have a great time in our structured and fun classrooms. There is a Bible story or lesson given in each age group. In addition, time is given for singing, coloring or a craft, free play, and a snack. You can feel secure dropping off your child because we run a background check on every volunteer.

As soon as your child is on the move, they can be dropped off in this room. Children have snacks, play time, and a Bible Story.
Maintains a 1:3 child to adult ratio
3s to 4s
Available During Worship Serve + Fellowship Groups
These kids worship, play, and learn about the Bible. If the weather is nice, we may venture onto the playground. Maintains a 1:6 child to adult ratio
K-2nd
Available During Fellowship Groups Only
These kids worship, play, and sit under teaching. If the weather is nice, we may venture onto the playground. Maintains a 1:8 child to adult ratio
3rd-5th
Available During Fellowship Groups Only
These kids worship, play, sit under teaching, and break out into discussion groups (split by gender). If the weather is nice, we may venture onto the playground.

We host an annual VBS (typically in July) and offer the following opportunities that meet at differing times during the year.
Kingdom Kids
Littles + Mom Pod
Kingdom Kids is a mom pod here at Calvary, put on by moms who are members and regular attenders. Our goal is to create a nurturing community where mothers can be encouraged and strengthened through Biblical fellowship, where littles grow in understanding themselves in God's world through panful learning, faith-based, activities, and loving connection—laying a foundation of faith for both generations.
We get together twice a month (once on campus and once on an excursion). Parent participation makes this program run. Contact Bonnie Verduzco to learn more.
Mission Force
TK-5th Grade Midweek Program
On Tuesday nights during the school year, we host this weekly program. TK (potty-trained) to 5th grade kids learn what it means to know Jesus, live for Him, and carry out His mission to the world. We participate in games, crafts, worship, teaching, and Scripture memory. Parents who are members or regular attenders can also get involved in this ministry by volunteering. Joyful Noise
Children's Choir
Our children's choir participates in our annual Christmas Concerts and sings throughout the year for CBC and Outreach events. Participants of this choir regularly attend CBC and are in grades K-5th. If interested, please contact the church office.
