A Typical Sunday
Welcome to Calvary Bible Church, Burbank. We're a church of believers committed to following Christ. We are excited to have you come and visit us! Our Worship Service meets from 9am until 10:30am. Our worship is fueled by the Bible, which reveals God in His infinite glory, and salvation because of His great love. We encourage you to come gather with us on campus, but livestream is available for those who cannot be physically present. Our typical service consists of singing, public reading of Scripture, praying, giving, communion (monthly), and the preaching and hearing of God’s Word. Every sermon is usually around 50-55 minutes. Our pastor teaches straight from the Bible. He aims to clearly explain what it says, and to make deep and careful application to our lives.
After the service, we break up into fellowship groups (20-60 people) for mutual growth and encouragement. Fellowship Groups meet for sermon application or additional teaching. Learn more about Fellowship Groups
Children's Ministry
Preschool ministry is available for infants through second grade during the Worship Service and Adult Fellowship Groups. Older children (third grade and up) are with their parents on Sunday mornings for the 9am Worship Service.
For the children in Preschool classes, each age group will enjoy a Bible story or lesson, singing, and activities that will help them learn about God. All of our volunteers are live scanned and we use a check-in system that only allows you (or persons you have designated) to pick up your child.
For the older children, check out our CBC Kids' cart in the foyer on Sunday morning for activity pages with crayons. Children may turn in their completed activity page at the end of the service for Calvary Cash, which is redeemable for prizes. In addition, Sunday School classes are offered during the 11:00am Adult Fellowship Groups: K-2nd and 3rd-5th Grade.
Attire
Please feel free to dress comfortably. Our desire is that your focus would be on worshipping God with us, and not on what you are wearing. When you visit Calvary, you will notice people dressing casually, while others wear their “Sunday best.” Either way, what is most important is that you come prepared to Worship “in spirit and in truth.”

1101 S Main St Burbank, CA 91506 Our parking lot is between Burbank Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center and our church building. You may also park in the back of the Business Center lot on the corner of Alameda and Main Street, behind the Burbank Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Entrances on Alameda or Main Street.
